These Terms and Conditions are acknowledge and agree to by booking a tour with iWander Tasmania. We encourage you to read the itinerary for your prearranged tour to guarantee that you comprehend the physical necessities and contents of the tour. Australian Consumer Law applies to these Terms & Conditions, and nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions seeks to or has the effect of abrogating your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
iWander Tasmania visits National Parks and wild areas that include some walking. They are appropriate for people with a reasonable level of fitness.
Tasmanian weather conditions can change quickly at any time of year. We operate tours in all weather conditions so we suggest that visitors bring clothing and footwear appropriate for hot, warm, cold or wet conditions. The Tasmanian sun is often more harsh than other parts of Australia. We operate tours in all weather conditions and reserve the right to modify itineraries if the weather conditions on the day deem this to be necessary for either functioning or safety motives, refunds are not given when itineraries change.
Pick ups and Drop off Services: iWander Tasmania offers free pickup and drop off services for specific tours. Each tour will have its own list of pickup / drop off sites and can be viewed on each tours booking page. If you want to be picked up from a different location please contact us via email, phone or enquires to see if it’s possible. It is the customer’s duty to be waiting out the front of your designated pickup location at least 5 minutes prior to departure. Failure to be on time or to wait out the front of the arranged location may lead to us not being able to locate you, causing failure to load. iWander Tasmania cannot be held responsible for travelers who fail to load.
iWander Tasmania is able to use images of you taken on the trips for use in marketing material or on our website. You will need to notify iWander Tasmania in writing prior to the start of the trip, if you don’t want your image to be used.
Meals: Meal and drinks are not included with the tours except where documented. Stops will be made throughout the day and refreshments can be obtained on the day.
There are no baggage storage services on day tours, unless otherwise indicated on the tour page or if management has agreed it’s available. Your luggage can be stored with your accommodation provider for the day. Any inappropriate baggage presented on the departure day (including strollers) may result in refusal to board. Luggage is permitted if agreed upon with management when airport pick up and drop offs are organized.
Travel insurance is not included in the cost of your tour. We recommend that passengers travel with travel insurance which safeguards their financial commitments against injury, illness and loss/damage to personal belongings and travel plans.
A booking for the cost of six people is required to customize a tour.
Airport drop offs are only done after 7pm on the day of a tour and are only valid to guests who have booked multi day tours, e.g. 3 or 4 day packaged tour.
iWander Tasmania will not be liable for loss, injury or death sustained to a person or property arising from directly or indirectly connected to accommodation or any leisure activity organised by this office, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. iWander Tasmania gives no guarantee or assurances as to the security, safety or quality of accommodation or any activity being the subject of a tour booking and all risks associated with accommodation or a recreational activity is solely yours. Recreational activities booked through iWander Tasmania may be dangerous and entail inherent risk to health or personal safety.
iWander Tasmania takes rational care in choosing operators who deliver goods and services that we indorse. We cannot accept any responsibility for these operators as they are not under our direct control. Our exclusion of responsibility includes the operator’s failure to provide, make withdrawal, cancel, substitute, use an alternative service provider or make a variance to their product or services.
You agree to instruct us before the beginning of any tour of any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your capacity to partake in any part of the tour. You agree to advise us about any additional information we need to know to take account of you safely in the tour or activity. We have the right to remove any individual who in our judgement is likely to endanger themselves or others.
We reserve the right to adjust itineraries, inclusions and prices and where necessary cancel departures due to operational reasons, weather conditions or minimum number restrictions (2 passengers). The minimum number of passengers is two unless otherwise organised with management. If an alteration is to take place, we will try to give you reasonable notice
You can transfer the charge paid to a tour on a different date or obtain a complete refund, if we cancel your tour. Refunds will be provided where required by Australian Consumer Law. In situations where a termination is due to events outside our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not accountable for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking.
iWander Tasmania recommend you have travel insurance that covers cancellation costs. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancelling 24 hours prior to a your departure date you will receive a full refund.
If you are not present at your tour’s departure time, you join the tour after departure, or leave the tour before its end for any reason, no refund will be made.
