Mt. Field, Mt. Wellington, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Richmond Day Tour
Summit Mt.Wellington before enjoying a scenic drive along the Derwent River to Mt. Field National Park. Visit Tasmanian Devils at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and end the day strolling the historic streets of Richmond. All entry fees are paid for.

This day trip is a nature lover’s dream. We start the day with a picturesque journey through the Derwent Valley to Mt. Field National Park, where Russell Falls is the star attraction. It’s a short stroll underneath enormous fern forests and some of the world’s tallest trees. After the calming effects of the tranquil walks we follow the fresh water to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to visit Tasmanian Devils, wombats, koalas and more. We hand feed kangaroos before heading to the picturesque town of Richmond to feed ourselves. Tasmanian Scallop pies are just one of the wonders found in Richmond. After photographing the oldest bridge in Australia we make our make back to Hobart to summit Mt. Wellington for breathtaking views and panoramic pictures.
***Mt. Wellington summit time will depend on the weather (cloud cover). Either first thing in the morning or last thing in the afternoon.
