Your day begins at Mount Field National Park, home to the iconic Russell Falls, towering swamp gums, and ancient cool temperate rainforest. Enjoy an easy walk through one of Tasmania’s oldest national parks before continuing to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet Tasmania’s famous Tasmanian Devils and encounter a range of native Australian wildlife.
From there, we visit the historic village of Richmond, known for its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture and Australia’s oldest stone bridge. The day concludes with a visit to kunanyi / Mount Wellington, where breathtaking views stretch across Hobart, the Derwent River, and Southern Tasmania.

Cruise ship guests can join any day tour as long as the ship is in port for long enough. Some days we get enough interest from cruise guests to open a shorter day tour. E.g Falls and Devils tour from 8:00am till 4:30pm or 9:00am till 6:00pm
If guests are not staying in Central Hobart, they will need to make their way to our meeting point – 20 Davey Street, Hobart, TAS 7000.
A basic level of fitness is all that is needed to enjoy an iWander tour. There isn’t anything demanding but each tour will require some walking, from the bus to the beach, or 30 metres above the trees at the Tahune Airwalk.
